Chastity cage cleaning and storage: a care checklist
Share
Before cleaning your cage, check the instructions supplied with your exact model and selected parts. Keep them with your order details so you can repeat the documented steps next time.
This checklist covers off-body cleaning and storage. Use the directions for each component, including rings, connectors and locking hardware. If instructions are missing or two sources disagree, ask product support which directions apply before trying a cleaning method.
1. Match the instructions to your kit
Save the product name, selected variant, order number and any model or revision printed on the packaging. Keep the supplied leaflet or official manual link with those details.
The Classic Chastity Cage listing describes a body, rings and separate locking hardware. The Metal Chastity Cage offers size and ring selections. Check the components in your own order; a product photograph may show a different selection.

2. Inspect before cleaning
With the product off the body, look for cracks, damaged finishes, loose parts or a mechanism that no longer works as described. Photograph anything uncertain and ask for guidance before using the product again. Do not force parts together or try to file, bend or repair them.
SH:24's care guidance recommends checking the product instructions and inspecting for damage before cleaning. Cleaning does not repair a physical defect.
3. Keep a care note for each component
Make a separate entry for the body and each different ring, connector or lock, where supplied. Copy the following details from the instructions for that component. Mark any missing answer “confirm with support.”
- Part and material: component name, documented material and any coating.
- Disassembly: which parts you may detach and how.
- Cleaning: the permitted cleaner and method, including any dilution, temperature and contact time.
- Water exposure: whether wiping, rinsing or immersion is permitted.
- Drying: the stated method and any areas needing attention.
- Storage: the recommended conditions and suitable pouch or case.
- Source: the manual page or dated written support response.
Check whether the body-cleaning directions also cover the lock. A material name or an “easy to clean” claim does not answer that question.
4. Follow the cleaning, drying and storage steps
Use the documented method for each part. Detach only the components the instructions allow, then follow the specified cleaner, water-exposure and drying directions before reassembly or storage.
Do not add boiling, a dishwasher, bleach, alcohol or lubricant because another product's guide mentions it. Permission to rinse one part does not establish that the whole assembly can be immersed.
Keep drying and storage on the checklist as well as cleaning. For electronic accessories, check the manufacturer's specific water-exposure, drying and charging instructions. Resolve an unclear step with support before proceeding.
5. Get missing details in one question
“My order is [number], model [name and variant]. The leaflet explains cleaning [part], but does not cover [other parts]. Please send the current instructions for cleaning, permitted water exposure, drying and storage for each component.”
Send your question through product support. Include an off-body photograph of the separate parts if it helps identify them. Leave out payment details, intimate photographs and personal health information.
Save the answer with your care notes. Update the record when parts or instructions change, keeping the source and date of each answer.
